Don Edwards is one of the great scholars of cowboy and western music. He’s a fine guitar player and a melodious singer, and he loves playing and singing these songs, both contemporary and traditional, that pay tribute to America’s great cowboy heritage. In this two-disc collection are 32 of the best, including, "Red River Valley," "When the Work’s All Done this Fall," "The Colorado Trail," "Night Rider’s Lament," "Diamond Joe," "Saddle Tramp," "Windy Bill," Don’s own "Gone to Texas," and collaborations with cowboy poets Paul Zarzyski and Joel Nelson.
