The Due West Trio

Western Music and Cowboy Songs

This trio includes Rena Randall, Dave Gibson, and Dave Bertoglio. Randall has an outstanding melodious alto voice and sings lead on her excellent originals "The Legends of the West," "La Llorona," "Back to Arizona," as well as most of the other material.
Dave Bertoglio contributes his own originals with "The Further Adventures of Houston McKay" and "The Old Rockin' Z." Not to be outdone, Dave Gibson contributes "A Cowboy's Dream" and "The Holbrook Shootout."
Gibson and Bertoglio are good singers, and their efforts are commendable, but Randall is clearly the shining star of the group. Every song she sings will hold your ear to the end.
Among the classics included on the album are "Julie Ann," "Round-up in the Spring," "Rainbow on the Rio Colorado," "Cattle Call," "The Strawberry Roan," and "Tennessee Stud."
Once you hear this very nice album, you WILL BE a fan of the Due West Trio.
