Traditional and contemporary western gospel music performed by top western music artists.
After gospel music emerged in the 1870’s it quickly became popular in Sunday schools and Bible camps. Now many cowboy singers are coming out with their own western gospel.

Naturally, western gospel varies slightly in style from the more popular southern gospel, but many of the songs are traditional gospel songs, they just have more of a cowboy, or western sound. In addition to traditional gospel music there are some original works by cowboy singers such as, Fletcher Jowers, and R.W. Hampton. These western gospel singers take their work, and their faith, very seriously.
