It's great to have a performer you can depend on. When Red Steagall "cuts an album," you always know you'll get great music and poetry, all of it well-written and superbly performed.
This is Red's tribute to the pioneering roots of cowboys and ranchers, and to the westward movement of the people who settled in the West. He starts out in Ireland and takes us through the Cumberland Gap of Kentucky and on to Texas, the Yellowstone valley, and Nebraska. We also travel the Santa Fe Trail, the Oregon Trail, and bow to America in general.
Included here are the great songs of Red Steagall, Steve Spurgin, Rich O'Brien, R.W. Hampton, Luke Reed, and Danny Steagall, all of them arranged and produced to perfection by Rich O'Brien.
This is an enjoyable, musical, western journey. Don't miss out on it.
